If your clothing isn't the right fit, please let me know! I want to make it right for your pup! Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your product. I can exchange your item for one size up, or one down at no extra cost, however, if I need to make a custom size, or more than one size, an additional fee may required. Please note, items with custom personalization, belly bands, doggie diapers, or items that are custom made just for you are not eligible for exchange. I will exchange for the same item, however if that item is no longer available, we can discuss a different, similar style. The cost of shipping the item back to us is your responsibility, we do not provide shipping labels for exchange.

Pet it Dog Apparel is currently located in Woodstock, New Brunswick Canada (we just relocated from Ontario in 2021!) All of our products are designed, and shipped from New Brunswick, Canada. All of our dog clothing is made right here in Canada with attention to detail and care! Currently we do not have a physical location, but maybe one day! If you are local, and would like to arrange for pick up, we can do that too!
Firstly, don't panic! Please double check and make sure all your shipping details are correct, check your tracking number for status updates, and try to contact your local post office to see if they can offer any help to locate your parcel. Please allow sufficient time for your parcel to arrive based upon the service you have selected at checkout. During these uncertain times, a tracking number is highly recommended, and always a good idea so you can track your package. It is rare for a parcel to go completely missing (often delayed, or sometimes returned) If your parcel is purchased without a tracking option, please note that I will not be held liable for any stolen, delayed or missing parcels. Of course if you have any questions regarding your order, or other concerns I am more than happy to assist the best I can!

It's easy! Measure the following measurements of your dog with a tape measure, (or use a string, and measure that) in inches and match it up to our size chart. If between, size up! Not your size? Let me know! I can also create custom apparel for hard to fit breeds. Note the '+' measurements allow for more room in the chest, suitable for bully, and larger chested breeds. Neck : Measure the circumference around the neck where the collar sits. Girth : Measure the circumference around the body at the thickest part just behind the legs. Back Length : Measure from the collar at the neck to the tail bone. (Please note, that on larger sizes, the back length usually will not go right to the tail bone depending on the breed)
You can wash your dog clothing right in the washing machine! I recommend however, that you do not put your hoodies in the drier, instead air dry or fluff dry on low heat in the dryer. Do not iron arctic fleece or faux fur as it may melt! If the fur on your hoodie, or the fleece gets a bit matted due to wear or from washing, brush it out with a natural bristle brush or fine comb. To wash belly bands and diapers, I would recommend soaking them in a bucket filled with warm soapy water (with a bit of vinegar if desired) over night and then machine washing them with the velcro closed if they are quite soiled or smelly. Lay them flat to dry. Avoid use of a super hot iron, and do not bleach (it may bleach out some of the colour from the bands)
